As Director of Human Resources, Lorie is responsible for the overall administration, development, coordination, and evaluation of employee relations and human resource policies and practices. Lorie provides guidance and support to affiliated organizations HR staff in the areas of recruiting/retention, performance management, benefits/compensation administration and workers' compensation.
Lorie has an extensive background in the Human Resources field. She has worked in human resources for a variety of business sectors including insurance, non-profit, and a government-owned long-term care facility.
Lorie is a graduate of Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in both Business Administration and Psychology. She received her Professional In Human Resources (PHR) certification in May of 2000 and is also a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Lorie is a member of the Lincoln Human Resources Management Association (LHRMA) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Outside of work, Lorie enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She loves being outdoors, working in the yard, going on long walks and putting puzzles together. Lorie has been a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years and loves teaching younger children!
