As a Quality Outcomes Coordinator, Amanda participates in the development of performance metrics to measure adherence to policies and procedures as well as the effectiveness of talent development activities. She completes reviews of services and supports based on an identified schedule using a standard template for measurement and summarizes and analyzes quality data and performance information collected. Amanda also provides consultation and technical assistance to staff and entities responsible for making corrections and improvements. She has developed an understanding and knowledge of variances in policies, practices, and regulations in a number of states.
Having grown up with a brother who experiences Developmental Disabilities, Amanda knew that being in this field was the path for her! She has been in this field for over 20 years, having previously worked as a Direct Support Professional, Front Line Supervisor, DHHS DD Service Coordinator, and an Area Director.
Amanda has a Bachelor's degree in Developmental Advocacy Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with Minors in Education and Portuguese.
Outisde of work, Amanda loves stopping for yard sales, auctions and estate sales, searching for new hidden gems. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and taking photos!
