Iowa Expansion The DSI Area Director and CII are discussing possible agency expansion. DSI is considering expansion to provide supports in another home in the Council Bluffs area.

KC is off and running DSN-KC has initiated supports in one ISL home and one DSN licensed Group Home. Cindy Ostrom, the Area Director, is working diligently to further expand supports into yet another ISL home by mid-August. DSN-KC will be preparing for its initial DMH survey within the next two months.
May 26, 2008 Iowa Expansion The CII resource team is currently considering the possibility of expansion into the Des Moines, IA area.

DSI prepares for expanded services Iowa will soon be launching funding for it's money Follows the Person grant. DSI will be notifying Iowa Medicaid of it's intentions to participate in the effort to move people from the state run facilities and into the community.More news
